At Blue Cypress, our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals can cultivate physical and mental well-being through the practices of yoga. We aim to inspire our community to lead balanced, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Classes are designed to meet each individual where they are at. From absolute beginner, to expert level practitioners we are confident that our dedicated instructors will be able to guide each person towards a personal growth, self-discovery and mindfulness. 

Our Classes

  • This hatha yoga class of 26 postures & 2 breathing exercises all done twice, was refined and made known worldwide by Bikram Choudhury.

    It is beginners yoga - known to be extremely therapeutic to the body and mind. We teach the traditional 90min class at 105°, as well as a shortened 60min version. Read more about hot yoga and frequently asked questions

  • The traditional 8 limbed yoga taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India. We synchronize breath and movement, warm up the body with a series of sun salutations then move mindfully through postures. This is a discipline suitable for the beginner & the advanced yogi alike. The room is not heated but is warm, aiding in flexibility & accessing a fuller range of motion

  • This is a Vinyasa style class with a more creative flow. We usually warm up the body with sun salutations, then move through a series of Vinyasa’s that target certain muscle groups, working up to 1 peak pose. This class builds strength and endurance, it ultimately teaches us to have fun, try new things & go with the flow

  • Yin offers a sweet and slow balance to your routine. Deep stretches and long holds aim to relieve stored up tension in the body. This practice increases circulation, flexibility and mobility in the joints, and improves sleep patterns.

    This meditative class calls on those seeking tools to recharge, slow down and find inner peace. We will take the time to sit intentionally in stillness, observing the body and mind.
